      VIRTUAL Home Stretch – HUD Approved Homebuyer Education Workshop - 10/28 & 10/29

      This is our popular eight-hour workshop created for those who want to learn more about the path to homeownership in a group workshop setting. Topics covered include credit reports and scores, how to develop a budget, understanding affordability, shopping for a mortgage loan, comparing good faith estimates, down payment assistance and mortgage programs for first time home buyers, how to work with a real estate agent along with agency and contract review, the importance of having a home inspection, closing process and life as a new homeowner. You only need to register once per household (up to two people). If your household is 2 or more people contact us at advising@nwhomepartners.org so that we know how many will be in attendance. In order to participate, you must have access to a computer/smartphone with video/audio capabilities, and a reliable internet connection. Registration for this event closes at 12 noon on Wed., Oct. 21st. Registration is a two-step process. After you select a course and submit your payment information, you will receive an intake form. Your place is not guaranteed until your intake information is complete. Participants must attend both sessions.
